About the Collaborative Business Network
The purpose of the Collaborative Business Network (CBN) is to give finance and business services staff a voice for positive change, enhance communication and connectivity across the division, increase consistency of business practices and provide leadership opportunities.
CBN will provide a platform to share knowledge, gather feedback, solve challenges, help develop best practices and/or review and test new processes and systems. It will serve as an effective communication bridge and as a resource for training and mentorship.
Leadership Structure
The Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the Deputy Chief Financial Officer are the CBN’s executive sponsors. The department of business practices serves as administrator guiding CBN and serving as the bridge to senior leadership and other division committees. The department of business practices will also act as the treasurer and secretary.
CBN will have one chair and up to four vice-chairs who will lead its sub-committees.
Membership
CBN shall consist of finance and business services staff representing the Division of Finance and Business Services and in adjacent groups. Each area is responsible for selecting its CBN representative and notifying the administrator.
Bylaws
The CBN has established bylaws to govern its operations and proceedings.
