Overview of Units

Academic and Research Finance - Academic and Research Finance encompasses the financial and business functions managed by Academic Accounting & Business Services (AABS) and Research Business Services (REBS). 

Brand and Business Development - The Brand and Business Development team provide services related to the use of Texas A&M’s intellectual property across multiple units, divisions, and our affiliate partners.

Budget and Planning - The Office of Budget and Planning's mission is to facilitate efficient and effective resource allocation, decision making, and strategic planning for the University community and constituents.

Business Services - Business Services is responsible for the execution of crucial business functions involving procurement services, vendor services, contract administration, and logistics.

  • Contract Administration - The Department of Contract Administration is responsible for managing the execution and administration of contracts on behalf of Texas A&M University.
  • HUB Program - The Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program at Texas A&M University is committed to promoting the inclusion of HUB vendors in university procurements while advocating the importance of supplier diversity.
  • Logistics Services - Logistics Services provides mail services, property management and central receiving services for campus.
  • Procurement Services - We offer our customers a variety of services, provided by one of three operational units within the department. These units are Purchasing Services, the HUB Program and E-Commerce.

Controller's Office - An employee-centric organization that provides accounting and financial services in partnership with our stakeholders.

  • Departmental Accounting Services - Departmental Accounting Services or DAS provides financial reporting, reconciliation and transaction processing services to departments across campus.
  • Financial Management Operations - Fiancial Management Operations provides accounting services in partnership with our stakeholders to ensure financial compliance and accountability to Texas A&M University and its constituents.
  • Student Business Services - Student Business Services helps student and their families better understand and manage their financial obligations to Texas A&M University.
  • University Accounting Services - UAS provides essential accounting services to Texas A&M University as well as other Texas A&M System members. Our services fall in the areas of Banking, E-Commerce, Financial Reporting, Payroll, and Tax Compliance and Reporting.

George and Barbara Bush Foundation - The Bush Foundation aims to preserve the historic legacies of President and Mrs. Bush primarily by supporting and promoting education and service-oriented programs at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum and the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University.

Operations Finance - Operations Finance provides the financial and business services for Environmental Health and Safety; Facilities and Energy Services; Human Resources and Organizational Development; Innovation Partners; Risk, Ethics, and Compliance; Transportation Services; Technology Services; and University Police Department.
