Howdy!

I am very pleased and excited to introduce the Division of Finance. As Texas A&M strives to be one of our nation's top ten public institutions of higher education by 2020, we have dedicated ourselves to excellence in the delivery of support services needed to achieve this goal.

The Division of Finance is comprised of five primary components. The leaders report directly to me and assist in the following areas with emphasis upon business support services:

• Finance
• Controller
• Employee Services
• Strategic Sourcing & Contract Administration

Our vision is: "Be The Benchmark". Quite simply, we want to set the benchmark by which others are judged.

It is quite common for businesses to judge their performance based upon best practices within their industry and we want to lead others not merely follow. But, we understand, no successes will be achieved unless we adhere to the highest standards of ethical performance.

Our students, faculty, staff, and visitors are important to us. I often refer to authentic communication. "Tell it like it is", open and frank discussion is not merely for the classroom; quality business decisions require honest assessments. We pledge quality service and welcome your critical comments.
