Tuition Rates Reduced for Summer Session II
During Summer Session II, Texas A&M will be participating in a pilot program introduced to us by
the state legislature and coordinating board to promote utilization of our summer offerings.
Facts to help you understand these special rates:
- Only applies to resident, undergraduate students
- Only for Summer Session II
- Reduces State Mandatory Tuition by 25%, which subsequently per law will also reduce
the Designated Tuition to that same amount. Bottom line-both tuition types will be
reduced to $37.50/scheduled hour, so a one hour class would cost $75.00 in tuition
- Fees are not reduced and remain at the same per hour or flat rate during Summer Session II
- Does not apply to 10-week summer sessions
- Undergraduate non-resident students that qualify for non-resident tuition waivers will be eligible
- Undergraduate non-funded Texas Residents will be eligible
