Tuition and Fee Installment Plan
Tuition, most required fees, residence hall rent, meal plans and parking permits are payable in installments. The four-payment installment plan requires payment for the first installment of deferrable and all non-deferrable fees prior to the first day of classes. Please remember that classes and options added will increase the amount of each installment. If you add a course or option after you made the first installment payment, but before the second installment payment, you will need to review your account online for additional balances due. Students who fail to pay one-half of deferrable and all non-deferrable fees prior to the Census Date are subject to cancellation of courses and a Late Registration Fee. A $15 service charge to cover the cost of handling will be assessed each student who chooses to use the installment plan.
The installment plan is an option students must select each semester. If you were on the installment plan last semester and you wish to remain on the installment plan for this semester, you will have to sign up for the installment plan again through the bill payment suite in the Howdy portal. You can access the bill payment suite by clicking on the “MyAccount” link located in the “Billing Services” channel of the “MyRecord (Fall 2009)” tab.
The first Installment Plan Late After Date is scheduled for January 2, 2010. Payments will be considered late after 5:00 p.m.
All scholarships, grants and loans are applied to outstanding charges before installments are calculated. No refunds will be made until all financial obligations are satisfied, regardless of the payment plan selected. Students may pay their account in full any time during a semester; however, the service charge will not be refunded once the initial due date has passed and a payment has been made.
The tuition and fee installment plan is available during fall and spring sessions only.
You may add the installment plan in August. Additional information will be provided at a later date.
