Travel to a Country under Travel Warning

According to University Rule 25.02.01.M1 Foreign Travel, a faculty or staff member traveling on university business to a country under a travel warning must have approval from the university President. (Note: Travel by undergraduate students will not be approved when the travel is to any foreign country that is under a travel warning.)

In order to receive presidential approval, the traveler must sign an Acknowledgement of Risk Form and submit it along with other necessary documentation to Lori Mervish @ Contract Administration.

To view countries that are currently under a travel warning as determined by the U.S. Department of State and to see what risks are involved in traveling to these countries, go to http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/tw/tw_1764.html.
